CDS 2011 Awards Have Arrived!   We would like to congratulate our Delta Sierra members who acheived awards during last year's show season.  They are:

On January 7th, the board and attending members held the first meeting of the new year.  The main topic for the meeting was event planning for 2012.   Based on the membership survey we did a couple years ago, the planning focus is on schooling shows, competition and regular clinics and educational events.  We are also planning to offer year end High Point Awards based on the scores from the schooling shows and clinics.   The shows and clinics included in the High Point Award calculation will include shows and clinics sponsored by Delta Sierra as well as some schooling shows sponsored by others.   Check out the Calendar page to see the schedule of events planned so far.

On the educational front, we are considering holding little clinics or educational events as part of scheduled meetings.  Some possible topics are braiding for shows, lunging with tack and side reins.  There will also be some other educational events posted on the calendar.  If you have thoughts or feedback that would help us plan, please use the Contact Form in this website and we will follow up with you.
